Viaggiare cheap&chic: weekend in europa per 2 con 200€ * Weekend around Europe at €200

Tra pochi giorni sarà il compleanno di Mr M, il mio amato maritino… che gli regalo? Se gli chiedo cosa desidererebbe la risposta, invariabile, sarebbe: una camicia. Ehhhh no, basta, è l’unico uomo che conosco che vivrebbe in camicia, sempre. Ne ha una sterminata collezione (che poi chi stira?? io… grrr!). Quindi quest’anno si cambia. Dal momento che amiamo molto viaggiare, il suo compleanno potrebbe essere l’occasione per un weekend romantico a spasso per l’europa! Un bel weekend low cost: il budget che ho fissato è di € 200,00 per tutti e due… vediamo cosa ho trovato!

In a few days will Mr M , my beloved hubby’s birthday  what shall I give him as a gift? If asked,  he will always respond the same thing:  a shirt. Ehhhh not again this year! I mean he is the only man I know who would live in his shirt, forever. He has a vast collection (who will stretches all these shirts ? … me grrr !). This year let’s change! We love traveling, his birthday could be the opportunity for a romantic weekend around Europe! A great low cost weekend: the budget that I set is € 200.00 for both … look what I found!

1. Weekend a Budapest 4 giorni, 3 notti a € 174,38 per tutti e due:

ohh come è romantica Budapest! e le sue terme, poi!

Volo a/r da Bergamo con Ryanair dal 11/12/2013 al 14/12/2013 con orari ottimi a 34,69 € a persona, tasse incluse + Hotel Royal Park Boutique Hotel 4 stelle centrale, Tripadvisor lo valuta 4 stelle su 5, ottime recensioni; da Olotels la camera matrimoniale è in offerta a 96€ per 3 notti colazione esclusa, con colazione € 105,00 (conviene, ovvio!).

Quindi riassumendo: volo €34,69×2= € 69,38 + hotel € 105,00= € 174,38 per due persone

Non male! Attenzione il volo con Ryanair è in promozione per acquisti entro il 26/10/2013.

1 . Weekend in Budapest 4 days, 3 nights at € 174.38 for both of us:

Flight to /from Milan Bergamo with Ryanair dates 11/12/2013 to 14/12/2013 at€ 34.69 per person , including taxes + Hotel Royal Park Boutique Hotel 4 star  hotel in the center of Budapest. Tripadvisor evaluates it 4 out of 5 stars , great reviews.  Olotels offers  a double room at € 96,00 for 3 nights excluded breakfast, with breakfast € 105,00.

So in summary : € 34.69 flight= € 69.38  + hotel = € 105.00 that is  € 174.38 for two people

Not bad ! Beware the flight with Ryanair is in promotion for purchases by 26/10/2013 .

2. Viaggio a Bruxelles 4 giorni, 3 notti a € 234,18 per tutti e due:

Andiamo a trovare Tin Tin? a vedere il Parlamento europeo e facciamo un salto nella vicina Bruges, così bella da togliere il fiato?

Volo a/r da Bergamo con Ryanair dal 29/11/2013 al 01/12/2013 con varie possibilità di orario a 29,69 € a persona, tasse incluse. L’ Hotel Brussels 4 stelle in centro, ha in corso delle promozioni: con un soggiorno di 3 notti sconto 25% e si  prende direttamente dal suo sito a  € 174,80. Hotel Brusselslo valuta molto bene, 4 su 5 e lo piazza al 23 posto su 190 hotel considerati.

Quindi riassumendo: volo €29,69×2= € 59,38 + hotel € 174,80= € 234,18 per due persone.

2 . Travel to Brussels 4 days, 3 nights at € 234.18 for 2 persons :

Let’s go to see the European Parliament and let’s jump into the nearby city of Bruges, so beautiful it takes your breath away ?

Flight to /from Milan Bergamo with Ryanair dates 29/11/2013 to 01/12/2013 with various possibilities of flight at € 29,69 per person , including taxes. The’ Hotel Brussels (4 star in the city center) has a great promotion: with a 3 night stay you get 25% discount: double room at €174.80. Hotel Brussels evaluates it very well , 4 out of 5.

So in summary : € 29.69 flight x2 = € 59.38 + hotel = € 234.18 for two people

3. Mercatini di Natale in Trentino, 2 notti e tante coccole a € 170,00.

Questa proposta mi tenta molto…

Visit Trentino il sito ufficiale del turismo in Trentino, propone dei lussuosi pacchetti ( da € 170,00) per vedere i mercatini di Natale nel Garda trentino:Visita guidata al centro storico di Arco e al mercatino di Natale,1 merenda di Natale presso il Mercatino di Arco (dal venerdì alla domenica fino al 6/1/2014), 1 merenda di Natale presso il Mercatino di Canale di Tenno (sabato e domenica), 1 merenda di Natale presso il Mercatino di Rango nel Bleggio (sabato e domenica), 1 cena con menù tipico, bevande incluse, in ristorante selezionato,dolce natalizio in omaggio, oltre a 2 pernottamenti con colazione in hotel 4 stelle.

Visit the official website of tourism in Trentino, it  offers a luxurious package at € 170,00 for Christmas markets on the Trentino side of  Garda lake including: guided tour of the historic center of the city of Arco and the Christmas market, one snack at the Christmas Market in Arco (from Friday to Sunday until 06/01/2014 ), 1 snack at the Christmas Market of Canale city (Saturday and Sunday), 1 snack at the Christmas Market in Bleggio (Saturday and Sunday), 1 dinner with traditional dishes, including drinks, in a selected restaurant, Christmas cake as well as 2 nights with breakfast in a 4 star hotel.

Shall we go? ? I love Christmas markets!

4. Puntatina a Madrid 3 giorni, 2 notti a € 200,00 per tutti e due:

Tapas, paella e l’occasione buona per tornare al museo del Prado!

Volo a/r da Bergamo con Ryanair dal 12/12/2013 al 14/12/2013 con varie possibilità di orario a 55,00 € a persona, tasse incluse. L’ Ayre Gran Hotel Colón, 4 stelle di design si riesce a prendere la camera matrimoniale da Expedia a € 99,00 colazione esclusa. Tripadvisor lo valuta molto bene, 4 su 5 e lo piazza al 127 posto su 455 hotel considerati.

Quindi riassumendo: volo €55×2= € 110,00 + hotel € 99,00= € 200,00 per due persone, anche qui non sforiamo il budget che ci siamo dati!

4 . Detour in Madrid 3 days, 2 nights at € 200.00 for both :

Tapas, paella and a good opportunity to return to the Prado museum!

Flight to /from Bergamo with Ryanair from 12/12/2013 to 14/12/2013 with various possibilities of flight at € 55.00 € per person , including taxes. The Ayre Gran Hotel Colón, a 4 star design hotel offers a awesome double room through Expedia at € 99.00  breakfast excluded. Tripadvisor evaluation: 4 on 5.

So in summary : flight € 55×2 = € 110.00 + hotel € 99.00 = € 200.00 for two people, exactly the budget I set!

5. Let’s go to Londra! 4 giorni, 3 notti a € 231,00 per tutti e due:

I love London! e ogni occasione è  buona per ritornarci!

Volo a/r da Bergamo con Ryanair dal 09/12/2013 al 12/12/2013 con varie possibilità di orario a 30,00 € a persona, tasse incluse. Il problema di Londra è sempre il pernottamento: l’alternativa è una squallida topaia o un costosissimo hotel. Ho però trovato un’alternativa dignitosa, pulita e centralissima: si tratta dell’ The Fielding Hotel, un 3 stelle a due passi da Covent Garden. Seguo sempre il giudizio di Tripadvisor quando devo prenotare un hotel e The Fielding Hotel lo valuta molto bene, 4 su 5 e lo piazza al 206 di 1.075  hotel considerati. Con Trivago (da consultare sempre, perchè riesce a rintracciare in un click tantissime offerte!) ho trovato un’offerta  per una camera matrimoniale senza colazione a € 57,00 a notte quindi € 171,00 in tutto.

Quindi riassumendo: volo €30×2= € 60,00 + hotel € 171,00= € 231,00 per due persone, un po’ oltre il limite, ma Londra è notoriamente un po’ caruccia!

Allora dove pensate che andremo? Cosa sceglierà Mr M? E voi cosa scegliereste?

I love London ! and every occasion is good to return again!

Flight to/from Milan Bergamo with Ryanair from 09/12/2013 to 12/12/2013 with various possibilities of hours at € 30.00 € per person, including taxes. The problem with London is always overnight: the alternative are a squalid hovel or an expensive hotel. But I have found a good  alternative a very clean and central hotel: it is the  The Fielding Hotel a 3 star hotel a short walk from Covent Garden. Trivago has an offer for a double room without breakfast at € 57,00 per night so € 171.00 for 3 nights.

In summary: flight € 30×2 = € 60.00  + hotel € 171.00 = € 231.00 for two people, a bit over the limit, but London is known to be a bit pricey !
